Through relationships with local nonprofits, sponsorships, and events, we’re committed to helping strengthen our communities in the Urbandale, Clive, and Des Moines areas.

United Way

Since 1917, The United Way of Central Iowa has focused on issues in our community that fall within the Five Elements of a thriving community: early childhood success, education success, health and well-being, essential needs, and economic opportunities. Creating community-based and community-led solutions that strengthen the cornerstones for a good quality of life.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities.

A nonprofit festival where you can watch breathtaking performances, pick up unique pieces from local artisans, and learn about local organizations making a difference in Des Moines. 80/35 has always tied the experience of the music festival back to its mission to strengthen and diversify the local music ecosystem in Des Moines. This is done through year-round education programs, professional development opportunities, and mentorship within the local music community.

Hoops and Hops

Hoops and Hops is an annual event where all basketball lovers can go to the Des Moines in Cowles Commons to attend a free NCAA basketball tournament watch party unlike any other.
